Dear Friends In Christ,
I created the ingredients for the "A Call to Faith in America and Around Our World" program sometime ago, but haven‘t been sure what to do with it. Like you, I want to make money. Money helps us live and dictates the manner in which we live. But I have created the products of this program primarily for the message they deliver. The program is the vehicle I have now chosen to help spread it across America, indeed throughout the world with your help. The idea has been in my heart and head for awhile and the disgust has been building with time as I witness the erosion of our rights, and most especially, those of our religious rights upon which this Nation, Under God, was founded. Please keep reading.
The events just keep multiplying that add more "fuel" and the need for "We the People" to take action. The fight that went on in Montgomery, Alabama several years ago regarding the Ten Commandments monument in the rotunda of the State Judicial Building was just one example of what has been happening. Thank God, for one Chief Justice, Roy Moore, who had the courage to fight to keep it. However, as we know, the monument was ultimately removed. Our forefathers must have turned over in their graves with that news. Other monuments have since been removed as well, and other limits enforced.
I don’t know about you, but it has not set well with me for a long time that our courts – and often it comes down to just one person – a judge – have gradually been taking the issues out of the hands of the people and delivering rulings that we all have to live by. Rules that affect our very constitution and the infrastructure established by our forefathers. I therefore submit that if such rules and the very constitution can be changed – amended – that "We the People" need to take a hard look and work to restore the very spirit and soul of our nation’s foundation. I invite you to join me, to pledge your faith in God, and your faith in our forefathers who’s common sense and wisdom seem to still outshine the thought processes that go into today’s decisions that affect our entire society.
Ironic isn’t it, that I’ve based this very program on the Ten Commandments, considering that I wrote the product materials before that ordeal in Alabama? As the program states, God’s rules for living are really quite simple and direct. I’ve condensed the biblical version to plain simple English, but given scripture references for your more in depth reading if you wish.
Why create a program featuring scripture when most homes already have a bible? Why indeed? Well, I ignored the concept for quite awhile and then tossed it around even more as I began to research the scriptures to make choices that I pray will be meaningful to all. But each day there seems to be yet another headline event that just emphases the need to pursue this. Perhaps God is leading me to call on His people to remember that He is responsible for our being here; that He still loves us regardless of what we do or don’t do to honor Him. He doesn’t promise us perfection in this life; only in the Eternal Life that He secured for us. Remember, at one point in time, God repented that He had made man – the nomenclature means "humans", not just the male gender. Only Noah found favor in God’s sight. Read Genesis Chapters 6 and 7. God wiped His canvas, the earth, clean with the Flood, but even then, His plan was in place so that Noah could begin new life on the earth. The beautiful rainbow that we all love to see after a storm is God’s promise to us. We enjoy it’s beauty, but it was God’s way of saying, "Hey, I had to do this. I’m sorry it was necessary, but I won’t destroy the earth again by water." Instead, He gave His Son so that we have choices.
Whether you choose to join my "Call to Faith" program or not, I pray that you do choose to honor God and give thanks to Him. "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." St. John 3-16
This letter was not previously planned to accompany the program, but the ongoing deterioration of our religious freedoms can not be ignored. And I feel that these comments are timely and needed. Why do we the majority who believe in God as a part of our heritage allow a few to dictate that we should wipe His Name and all references from our government entities and schools? Is that a message of things to come or what? We the People own our government, we the people should have some say as to what we want. Speak up, America, before it’s too late. Rights removed are rarely, if ever, restored. Think about that tidbit of information for a moment.
